Natural Solution to Septic Problems

Chandler Septic Tank Activator is a non-toxic liquid that accelerates the decomposition of waste matter. When applied to septic systems, the product enhances the microbial activity that may become depressed or inactive due to detergents, soaps and other toxic household chemicals. When these microbe populations become depressed, the septic system will accumulate waste solids, generate more odors, and require more frequent pumping and repair. By enhancing the microbial activity in the system, Septic Tank Activator eliminates common septic problems like sludge build-up and odor. Septic Tank Activator may be used to treat waste systems in homes, businesses, recreational vehicles and other facilities.

What ingredients are in Septic Tank Activator?

Septic Tank Activator is a non-toxic liquid product that contains naturally occurring enzymes, proteins, and amino acids. These organic compounds enhance the growth of the beneficial bacteria and other microbes that break down solids and other waste matter in the septic system.

What is the application rate for Septic Tank Activator?

For normal home septic system maintenance, we recommend that you apply two ounces of product for each 100 gallons of septic tank capacity every six months. You can pour the product directly into sink or bathtub drains, stools, or floor drains. The product will not harm bathroom fixtures when used as recommended. If problems with slow drainage or odors persist, you can apply Septic Tank Activator  more often or at higher rates until the system functions normally.  Finally, you use Chandler Biocat 3000 to treat large-capacity waste systems like livestock manure pits.

Does Septic Tank Activator really work on drains that are slow or plugged?

Yes, you should pour at least two ounces of Septic Tank Activator into the problem drain, let stand for eight hours, and then flush with water. Light plunging may be needed if the drain is still slow.

How do I use Septic Tank Activator in my RV?

You can pour a small amount of Septic Tank Activator directly into the drains of recreational vehicle sinks, bathtubs, or showers. The best time to add the product to the RV waste system is right after you empty the tanks.

How does Septic Tank Activator compare to other septic products?

Many commercial septic products add microbe cultures to the waste system.  Although this approach can be effective, the non-native microbes in these products may not survive their shelf-time at stores or may be affected by the presence of detergents or other chemicals as they enter the waste system.  The enzymes in Septic Tank Activator multiply the microbes that are already living in your waste system, so the product tends to provide more consistent results across all types of waste systems. Also, many commercial products must be applied more often or are more expensive than Septic Tank Activator.
